Academic Computing

Each student is responsible to ensure proper licensing of any and all software that the student installs or has installed that is not provided by WFBMC.  

Standard Software Load          

• Operating System is Windows 11 
  • Windows Update: Click Start, select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and then click Check for updates.
  • Install all “Important Updates”
  • DO NOT install the optional updates
  • Perform once a week
• Monthly Patches and Updates
  • It is the student’s responsibility to run monthly updates on their device as these are released.

Submit a request for WFSM enterprise licensed version of SAS (free to education and research members)
