Assemble the Review Team

Build Review Team

A strong systematic review team combines complementary skills to ensure methodological rigor and reduce bias. At minimum, include a project coordinatorsubject experts, a librarian for comprehensive, reproducible searches, and a statistician for guidance on study design and data analysis. To minimize bias during screening and data extraction, involve at least two independent reviewers—ideally an odd number to resolve conflicts by majority vote. Including a methodologist can further strengthen adherence to review standards and reporting guidelines.
