Library Policies

Rooms Reservation Policy

Due to COVID-19, classroom and study room use policies have changed.

Carpenter Library provides limited classroom use for Medical Center students and staff.  All rooms must be reserved prior to use.

 The following rules apply:

  • The library maintains 2 computer classrooms to allow hands-on training for a variety of resources. Library staff who teach hands-on classes have priority for classroom use.
  • Other departments can only book three months in advance of the proposed class date(s) but reservations can be made up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Any group that does not appear for a reservation will have their booking canceled after one hour.
  • Special software has to be loaded by IT staff. Please contact the ServiceDesk [https://wakehealth.service-now.com] and complete a ticket. Be sure and send any instructions along with your request.

Carpenter Library has seven small group study rooms that require reservations.

The following rules apply:

  • At least two people must be in the group
  • Reservations are one to four hours at a time

The quiet study spaces, including formerly Classroom C, do not require reservations.
